I've always wanted to play a string instrument, so I decided one day: bass it is. Bought a bunch of books w/ CD's so I can play along...bad thing is I don't have time to devote to it.
It's really fun UV, I don't know about flute books, but they have "music minus-one" for pretty much every instrument. You can look on Amazon. You can pretend you play w/ an orchestra or rock band. It's very helpful with rhythm.
QH:) yes....the sound is great...looks hard though...:) I used to want to play the drums..and saxo...may be one day...
